Scope "Company" means Fessl und Kiefer GbR, trading as Public Domains. "Customer" means the buyer. "Goods" means products offered at www.publicdomains.studio. Only persons 18+ may order. By ordering, the customer accepts these Terms.Contract Goods shown on the website are not a binding offer. By ordering, the customer submits a binding offer to purchase, completed via checkout (Stripe or PayPal). Submitting an order is not yet acceptance by the Company; we may decline an order (e.g. stock issues) within 4 days by email.Made-to-Order vs. Small-Series Goods Some pieces are produced on request (made-to-order); others are strictly limited small-series items. Each product listing states which applies — this determines the right of withdrawal below.Warranty Statutory warranty rights apply. For consumers, the minimum statutory warranty period is 24 months from delivery. Right of Withdrawal For small-series/stock goods: consumers may withdraw within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving reasons, by clear statement to Fessl und Kiefer GbR, Fichtestr. 25, 10967 Berlin, contact@publicdomains.studio. We refund all payments including standard delivery cost within 14 days of receiving the withdrawal notice or proof of return, whichever is earlier; we may withhold refund until goods are received back. Customer returns goods within 14 days of the withdrawal notice, at their own cost, and is liable only for value loss from handling beyond what's needed to check the goods' nature and function.F or made-to-order goods: the right of withdrawal does not apply, as these are goods made to the consumer's specifications (Art. 16(c) Directive 2011/83/EU / § 312g(2) no. 1 BGB). This must be clearly disclosed on the relevant product page before purchase.Contract Language English.Final Provisions If any provision is invalid, the rest remains valid. German law applies, excluding CISG; mandatory consumer protections of the customer's home country remain unaffected.
PAYMENT
Prices All prices are in EUR, plus shipping. Public Domains is a small business under § 19 UStG (Kleinunternehmerregelung) and does not charge VAT. Payment Methods Checkout via Stripe or PayPal.Retention of Title Goods remain property of the Company until paid in full.
SHIPPING AND RETURNS
Delivery We currently ship within Germany only, via DHL. All products are shipped within 5-7 business days. Times are estimates, not binding dates. Made-to-order pieces have longer, individually communicated lead times. Risk passes to the consumer on delivery. Shipping Costs is calculated at checkout.
Returns Small-series goods: return via the right of withdrawal. Return to Fessl und Kiefer GbR, Fichtestr. 25, 10967 Berlin. Return shipping cost is borne by the customer. Made-to-order goods: not eligible for return.
